I have somehow made a .pa file that extracts okay but when extracting this:
always appears seemingly no matter where I extract to.
Here is the file.
I am running PA on 64 bit Windows 7. -
Thanks for sending the file over. We have reproduced the issue as well here. Oddly enough, when re-creating a PA archive using the same extracted files, the error does not appear again upon extraction.
Do you remember the settings used to create the file? I re-created with the default Optimized Strong settings and it was fine. Maybe a setting during archive creation causes it.
It has been logged in. -
@Brian-Gregory I sent it to @eugene to check, he is the engineer responsible for PA format.

@Mili I didn’t realize it was such a weird problem. I created the file on a PC I won’t have access to until next weekend and I can’t seem to recreate the problem on the PC where I am now. Sorry.
-
@spwolf Sorry, can’t get them until the weekend.
-
Drat. I forget to find them. Sorry.

No problem @Brian-Gregory
We were able to find a solution and have tested the file you sent and it extracted fine without the error.
The fix should be in the next update.many thanks for letting us know!

I had a chance to check and I thought I’d tell you what I found since it’s rather odd.
One of the files, “BIOS Original.BIN” is not stored and/or extracted correctly in “BIOSs.pa” archive. A few bytes are wrong and it’s date and time are wrong too!
BIOSs.pa was created by right clicking a file BIOSs.ZIP and choosing “PowerArchiver” and then “Convert…” and then choosing “PA”, “Optimize Strong” and “Extreme” and clicking “OK”.
I’ve put the BIOSs.zip file here in case you want to examine it. -

I’ve put the BIOSs.zip file here in case you want to examine it.we got it already, issue was during extraction of files with rep1 filter with redundant data… so it is fixed in latest engine and it will work fine with your (old) file as well… just waiting for PA update and thanks for reporting it.
