Unsolved PA 19.00.43 Queue re-enabled every Windows reboot
-
Every time I reboot my PC I find that PA 2019 Queue is re-enabled. I like it disabled but with PA Starter still loaded at login time and showing in the tray area.
-
Still same in .44

couldnt reproduce this one unfortunately, could you please send us your settings to support and we will check with those. Could be a setting that causes it.
thanks!

Maybe it’s not really being re-enabled but when I go to ‘Options’ / ‘Configuration’ / ‘Queue’ in PA I find ‘Enable PowerArchiver 2019 Queue’ is ticked again.

thanks @Brian-Gregory
I was finally able to reproduce it. If the “Start PA starter” checkmark is left On after unchecking queue, queue will enable after restart.
If unckecking Start PA Starter checkmark, Queue won’t reenable.

you guys are overthinking it :)
This option is always on when PA Starter is running, it does not mean that queue is used, just that it could be used if you chose to do so.
Its is useful because it lets you start PA Starter easily from config when you click on it first time. -

@spwolf What’s so damn hard about labelling the tick boxes correctly?
You refused to fix this before with earlier version.
Also if the tick box labelled ‘Enable PowerArchiver 2019 queue’ actually controls the PAStarter icon then what on earth does the tick box labelled ‘Start PowerArchiver 2019 Starter when my computer starts’ do???
I think you’ve got so used to the totally screwed up illogical way this works that you’ve actually come to believe that it makes sense!!

Maybe… Enable PA 2019 Queue starts Starter when you check it (it asks for it)… but it will not start Starter at computer restart unless you check Start… box.
Reason for this is for people not have to look for starter in Program Files folder when they want to see what is it.
