Pashlext.dll - 2010
-
Hi,
I am having some trouble deleting this file.
My problem- I installed 2010 and it caused my computer to slow down tremendously. After 2 attempts I decided to un-install it. All the files in the Power Archieve folder were deleted exact for PASHLEXT.DLL. I tried to delete power achieve in the regedit, but the PASHLEXT.DLL is still there. When I try to manually delete it, window pop up says- Make sure the file is not protected and that it is not in use, etc…
Any help would be great.

That file is used to “enable” the shell extensions in Windows explorer. If you have uninstalled/deleted everything as you said, then a Windows reboot should allow it to be deleted.

I have the same problem, and rebooting did not help the issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to PowerArchiver> Options> Reset to Default… does it work now?
