Solved ftp issues

I’m using the FTP portion of PA (18.00.37) and even after setting up a profile with username and password, the username-password will not populate the appropriate boxes. Is this behaviour expected?

@spwolf After setting up an FTP profile and selection the FTP tab (v38), The profile auto populates and I can login with no issues. I’ll test the FTP transfer issue later today. Thanks for the super quick fix!

@skypx restart pa, any better? I was testing it last few days and wrote in some interface annoyances but not that.

No it’s definitely not working as it should. + I just tried downloading a folder from my FTP server, and it just stopped at about 5%. No error message. I checked task manager (Ethernet tab) to verify it stopped downloading, and sure enough it did.

those are two separate problems, so if you can figure out more info about either one of them, let us know.
Any other annoyances with ftp, also write it down, we currently have around 10 smaller issues to solve for next build.

Did it say. 37 in about? No worries, it is. 38.

@spwolf sorry, not so sure about : dl file downloaded is titled v37 =35.8mb what is indeed equal to the v37 previous downloads. On the dl page RC1 is announced v37= 36.6 MB… and install is v37

we still have few ftp buggies to work out next week but it is working better now.

@spwolf I switched from Firefox to WinEdge and finally got the v38.
