Unsolved 17.00.90 right click compress to directory.pa behaving differently in this version
-
If I right click a directory and choose “Compress to directory.pa” then PowerArchiver takes a moment to get going and then the progress indicator windows appears underneath the explorer window where I right clicked the directory.
If I choose “Compress to directory.zip” or “Compress to Directory.7z” it works as expected and I can see the progress indicator window.

I can’t reproduce the bug
Must be something about the files in that folder causing it -

Must be something about the files in that folder causing itNo it’s not the files. That’s the first thing I checked.
I’m using optimise strong (in fact the profile I showed a picture of in my previous bug report about hidden files).
I suppose it could possibly be something else I have installed on my PC. Or it could only effect Windows 7.EDIT:
Found it. It’s the effect of having “Add to queue” ticked.
But I don’t think I remember it happening before, though I could easily be wrong. -
@Brian-Gregory good find, it should be brought back to front… thanks.

I have autostart/queue on (configured as default) and through shell commands the progress bar is in front.
(win10-pro). When task finished it disappears… I wonder if you set in config as default autostart/queue, it overwrites the setting in the advanced option ‘add to queue’. This setting is in shell (by default) not activated… Do I have to tap again that option, or will my ‘config’ setting will do the job… -
@pirrbe it should be checked there too, if you checked it in config.
as to original report, we could reproduce the progress window being in the back, so i wrote it in…
