I don’t know how it is from a programming point of view, but could *.rar files be treated differently to *.r01, *.r02 etc?

I have also had the same box appear when right-clicking on an EXE file (self extracting installer) and choosing ‘open with PowerArchiver’ (I do this quite often).

Edit: The above was a 40MB file, just had it happen with a 2MB file (of a different format that I can ALWAYS examine…happy to send it to you if you wish - it’s legit from MSoft).

please check with official beta 1, and let us know if this has been fixed… thank you!

Can now open the MSoft file. Will check on a multi-part RAR file the next time I get one.
Have the previously reported graphical issues with the gray column headers under XP been noted by the developers? Looks okay under Vista (32-bit).
Cheers

not if you reported it in wrong thread (not its own)… as you can see, with many reports in, it gets hectic, and if issue does not have its own thread, it will most likely be overlooked.

thats why they should be in separate thread… its very hard to find things when there are multiple things in thread called “pa 2010 b1”

Will bear that in mind for future posts.
Would you like me to repost? I’m really not being funny by asking, I know you must be very busy…just trying to be helpful.
