keep looking at that options issue if it happens again, not sure if that was intentional fix since it was just reported yesterday.

As to the PAES crash, cant reproduce here. Can you please export your HKCU\Software\PowerArchiverINT to the reg file, cab it and send it over to support at conexware dot com. That way we might be able to reproduce it.

Ok,
Outside of Archives with “Use Checkboxes” enabled everything is gone.
Disable “Use Checkboxes” and the Filelist returns but the Tree remains gone.

Inside of Archives with “Use Checkboxes” enabled is fine.
Disable “Use Checkboxes” everything remains fine.

BTW, can the next forum upgrade include support for WebP images please!

Browsing View set to Details = Buggy
Browsing View set to List = fine
Browsing View set to Thumbnails = fine

After switching to Thumbnails and then back to Details, Details is fine until PA closed and restarted again. Once PA is loaded things are missing again.

Haven’t really found a workaround for the missing items in the Tree pane either :(

didnt get to it yet, it requires more than just a browsing view on default + details it works fine. I will check with Ivan if he can take a look at this tomorrow since it is a larger issue. I can reproduce it with your reg at any time so thats good!

edit: if you move to Classic Light skin for few days, that will work. It only happens with Classic Dark skin.
edit2: wrong colors are set, thats why it is missing… it is there but with white text color.

Confirmed using Classic Light skin works and I’ll keep using until PA 2016 Final is released.

Sadly your pessimism was correct, Options dialog showed up behind status dialog a couple of times today - in one case, DisplayFusion did not move dialogs to another monitor and was on my primary monitor, so not sure that is related.

Emailed cab file with reg key as well.

I see one other small GUI glitch on a fresh load, the text in the folder dropdown box next to back\forward buttons is white blending into the background until mouse moves over it. This Only affects Classic mode and not Modern Ribbon mode from my experiments.

Folder icons for the Open dropdown list in Classic mode (Classic Light and Classic Dark) do NOT match the icon on the toolbar. In Modern mode (Modern Dark\White skin), Open archive droplist list everything matches perfectly!

The Extract dropdown lists are perfect across the board so far.

Just messing around with SFX Wizard which is really cool btw and the About dialog need updating in there too!

and then the year copyright dates… blah blah

Can you add environment variables like %ProgramFiles% to the Default extraction path area too? I just tried this and it didn’t automatically show C:\Program Files\ but instead %ProgramFiles%

yes, thats since old icon set does not have new icons… so only old ones are there right now.

I’ve seen this with the dropdown lists for “Open Archive” with a archive already open with Classic Mode skin. The icons don’t match the “Extract Archive” dropdown list

I have been looking to somehow get the same style of icons, but it is hard to find. These were custom designed by our old icon designer Maria that unfortunately died from terminal disease few years ago :-(.

New ones were designed by our friends at Reset Web design but it is very different style from Original set.
