you need to lower the dpi to 125dpi, at 150dpi, it will not work properly… Only thing we can do is disable dpi scaling at 150dpi completely.
-
hi, i’m using a dpi of 110%,
-
what version of PA are you using?
-
the latest
-
in the properties under comppability i can disable scaling high dpi
then the program Shows finei made 2 pics of the difference but i don’t know how to Show you
-
can you do a screenshot please?
-
send it to support at conexware dot com if you cant attach it here.
-
i see what you are talking about… please do use the disable checkbox in properties to get it back to normal size… not sure what exactly we can do since we cant disable it automatically I think thats one of the Win cert logo rules.
We will try doing something better in the future.

does the Microsoft link didn’t help?

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/…/dn528847.aspxnope, this is how it works for delphi applications…. this is auto scaling by Windows.

hi
i’m using a System tool called privazer.
today on their Forum they wrote“we need your help to test UI changes for high DPIscreens (no other changes in this version). Simply download it, use it and have a look if there are layout/design issue: It should look much better on high DPI screen.”
so there must be a way or??
-
Marc, let us know what do you need aside from disabled dpi support that makes it blurry… anything else?
-
i just want you to fix it and not to disable it. as another programmer did for his software too after i asked too check it
** is high DPI aware. However, it did not properly tell the Windows it and therefore some Windows UI scaling values (e.g. 125%) did not work properly, but Windows scaled ** as a bitmap resulting blurred font.
It’s now fixed

thank you Marc for your comments, we spoke about this over support chat yesterday… we will take a deeper look into doing manual adjustments for larger dpi sizes in PA 2016… hopefully it will be possible. Thanks!

hi PA
since i have a new Monitor & windows 10 the window of powerarchiver is very blurry
i found the solution
I can confirm that this will look really nice in PA 2016… we just did work on it, and results are good… one control is still giving us issue but it should be working fine by the time beta comes out.
It will work fine with 125%, 150% and even 200% larger dpi. So 4K screens here we come.
Thanks for reporting this and if you have any other reports or wishes, let us know (new thread though!)
