Access Denied

In my development VM I had installed PA, set up a backup job, scheduled it for 9:30AM every Thursday … so I must have used Advanced Options.
Now if I try to use Advanced Options I get a error dialog, from PA, saying Access is denied.
Any ideas?
I was using I think 38 and it has updated to 41, same problem.
Also, where is the usual Help-About to show version numbers?

If using the modern interface, click on the “?” button in the top right corner. You should see “About Powerarchiver” at the bottom of the list. If using the classic interface, you get to it via “Help” About PA.
The version number is at the top of that window.

I can verify Alycat’s findings about PBS files. I don’t even use the schedule. But after reading his post, I checked it. Got an error message as well (saying the pbs isn’t activated).

Strange thing is, this fails in my VM, I get an access denied, but in my “real” laptop it works fine. :confused:

Just purchased PA, the problem is still there so not caused by running as evaluation.

Someone from the dev team will look at this, once the weekend is over no doubt. They are usually pretty quick at getting things fixed.

Seems I an getting old problems coming back … this one is back again. I have 3 PA install, my wife’s laptop, my VM Host and my VM Guest. One works fine, two fail … load PA, 16.10.21, click Backups, select a backup, click Sched Options, then Advanced and receive Access is denied.
