I connect via FTP. I upload a couple of files.

When I then hit “disconnect,” nothing happened. I tried hitting F5 to refresh; I hit the “Refresh” button to refresh. It appears I am still connected.

I infer that the “Disconnect” button isn’t working.

I can confirm that. Didn’t even need to upload anything to check it.
Connected then hit disconnect, but opening any folder loaded that directory and clicking on an html file opened it. So definitely not disconnecting.

Related issue. Trying to delete files on the server side is, unpredictably unpredictable. Sometimes you can; most of the time you cannot. And I can see no clear pattern for determining when it will (or won’t) delete them.

Clarification. I figured out why I couldn’t delete some files, although this didn’t happen until recently.

I use an em-dash in my file name (before the date and time). in Filezilla the em dash comes through just fine. In the PA ftp, it gets changed to an odd box looking character. It uploads the file just fine. PA, though, is unable to delete it.
