File list colour coding
-
I cannot see the reason why the file indicated in the screen shot is displayed differently regarding the colour coding than the others. If it is just because the file is larger then the others, I cannot see the point in that the different highlighting does not impart any extra information.
Thanks

That is the largest file in the archive => “most important”.
-
yep, it shows larger files in archive, by %. There are unlimited possibilities on how the file list will look like.

What confused me initially, “important” is purely related to archiving process, nothing to do with file type (or function).

depends on the archive, in many cases, larger files are ones that you will be opening/extracting/updating.

Not in the example screenshot - that’s a dll file :p

indeed… it is impossible to figure out what is important to who, thats why it is customizable. You can turn off these importance features easily, making it all same color or making it white.

Nice to know what the feature is called so I can disable it:cool:. Biggest is not always best .

Could you tell me where those importance features are located? I just cannot see then? Thanks in advance.

base is base color and then darker1-3 are ones that are importance colors… if you change it to same color as base, then you will disable them basically :-)

Thanks 4 that.
