Is that a commitment I read between the lines :D
Regarding"why did you go to the temp folder?".
I never went to the temp folder. Instead of double clicking I accidentally d&d the file. I’m aware you can D&D files from outside of PA to include. But I find it strange that It tries to include a file from the temp folder PA created to show me the files. I never created the file.
This is a temp-file PA created and for some reason it thinks I want to add this file.

you can drag and drop file from PA to PA :-).
It works for things like changing compression method or encrypting the file.

I tried to encrypt one of the files. I asked for the PW, but the file never gets encrypted.
Guess i’m doing something wrong…
But I do likt this idea: “you can drag and drop file from PA to PA”.

check now with latest release?
-
4. Now there is no slash.
And it also doesn’t encrypt anything…
-
Thanks guido!
just tested encryption, selected AES encryption for the new file i dragged over, it stayed encrypted for me.
Any other info so i can reproduce? -
What New file?
1. I select a file from the zip file. D&D
2. The D&D dialog comes up
3. Select AES 256, nothing else.
4. Press OK
5. Have to fill in PW twice
6. PA starts to do it’s thingNow I would expect something to be encrypted. But I cannot find anything that is.
What should be encrypted?

are you dragging a file from PA to PA?
the D&D dialog that comes up are settings for the dragged file only. so, if you drag over a file to a new window(i.e new file), that dragged file will be encrypted regardless if the rest of the archive is encrypted or not.
-
drag and drop from same archive into same archive in order to change compression or encryption, etc :-)
-
ohhhhh, I stand surprised with PA’s hidden features :)
got it confirmed, it does not encrypt the file when D&D into same archive. Logging it in, thanks guys!
