PowerArchiver Pro Legacy & no Virtual Drive?
-
Running PowerArchiver Pro Legacy and when selecting anything having to do with Virtual Drive I get a message that I have exceeded my 30 day trial & all Pro features have been disabled.
However, all other Pro functionality seems to work. We were advised this would be fixed before the final was released, but I have upgraded to final (and the test v12.00.60) with no change.
Please advise.

you need to delete pavd.exe from PA install folder and then try again to press PAVD button… it should download latest drivers that dont have the issue anymore.

Ah! Thank you…a simple solution, but it didn’t go off without a hitch. Let me explain.
There was no PAVD.EXE in the PowerArchiver directory, but there was a PAVD2011.EXE instead. I took a chance and deleted that & it was then PatchBeam would let me download the new drivers.
However, I have PowerArchiver installed in D:\Program Files (x86)\PowerArchiver\ and it took me a few failed times trying to install the Virtual Drive software until I realized that the installer forces an install of the driver into C:\Program Files (x86)\PowerArchiver. Once I moved the new PAVD2011.exe over to the correct directory everything started working as it should.
Thanks for the help, but you should look at your installer automatically assuming everyone has PowerArchiver installed on the C: drive.
