I was compressing some files and I noticed one executable appears as 3.212.686 bytes where the original is only 80.256 bytes. Please check the attached image.

Edit: I forgot to write that the 7z archive is only 3.213.013 bytes

Packed size cannot be used as “right” when archives are solid (for RAR and 7-ZIP) because there isn’t any way to get how many bytes in one solid segment is from one and from other files.

Based on your case we can see that two executables were compressesed as first solid block, and the third file was compresseded as second solid block.

This is why ratio is ?.

Currently in V11.62.04 I see most packed size figures equal to the original size but one figure is still a huge number (maybe size of whole solid archive).

Please could you replace the incorrect figures (ratio and packed size) with a ? or something.

all figures inside solid archives could be incorrect ;-).

so we could replace everything with ??? but then it would look weird as well….

Well just having one which is huge smacks of a bug and caused me to spend quite a while investigating and checking the contents of the archive werre actually correctly stored.

Why not add crc to each file so even when compressed it shows you the crc of the files

I assumed the CRCs were probably correct.

Anyway you can’t just change the 7zip format, you’ve got to stay compatible with other 7-zip archivers.
