VD and StarBurn.dll
-
THIS FIRST PART MAY NOT BE RELEVANT . . . BUT IT SEEMS TO BE, SO
I decided to purchase an upgrade to Roxio Creator. But I didn’t care for it so I unstalled.Problems ensued.
I could no longer load the VD. I kept getting a message that PAVD2010.exe could not find StarBurn, dll.
I uninstalled the stardrivers and uninstalled and reinstalled PA – twice.
I still have the same problem.
Ideas?

did you install pre-release version by any chance?

Should I uninstall and reinstall .07?
-
I assume I could now reinstall the .22

if you can be patient for another hour, then no ;-)
-
but it is due to 11.62.02 missing that dll… .03 brings it back…

Here you go:

. . . but since I had already uninstalled and reinstalled .07 and then updated to the one you just posted . . . I cannot tell which one installed the StarBurn.dll file.
But all is well.
Thanks for the speedy and helpful response.

11.62.03 installed it…it wasn’t present in 11.62.02…:(
it’s working fine again now…:) -
the way Windows Installer works, it uninstalls previous versions completly…. so even if you had previous version installed, as soon as you install new one, you lose all of the previous files ;-)
i am closing this, thanks everyone.
