Add Dialog Box issues
-
When adding files to an archive using the “Add dialog box”, if you select the files to be added and later you change any of the main options, then the focus of the selected files becomes invisible. You have to resort the file list to be able to see the focus again.
If you try to add one archive to itself (For example add C:\1.zip to C:\1.zip), then no error message is displayed and the archive is erased.
By the way, what is the difference between Adding and Updating files to an archive?

Could you be more specific or attach a screenshot?
I am trying to reproduce this, but I am probably doing something different. Thanks. -
Here is a demo. ( http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HNTR6S8R )

Thanks for the trouble of making the demo.
It seems to be dependent on the OS version. Selection is retained in my Win7 32bit.
-
selection retained here as well. Which OS are you using?
Also, please send us your HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PowerArchiver key (zipped) to support at conexware dot com
Thanks!

The selection is retained but it becomes invisible. I am using Windows 2000 SP4.
It happens after the installation of PowerArchiver International. (I do not associate any extension to PowerArchiver). I have upload a unregistered version key.
By the way. Please correct the bugs of the Spanish version, it does not only have translation bugs but misplaced options too.

nobody in the office knows Spanish well enough, you need to compile issues and we will send it to our Spanish translator for fixing.

btw, thanks for the example, we will attempt to reproduce tomorrow morning on our win2k test bed…
