Intermittent hangs on 7zip extraction

I’ve been experiencing intermittent hangs while extracting some 7zip files with PA 11.50.49. This past time, it happened while trying to extract a single file from an archive. It was 100% complete, but, the dialog box just sat, the buttons were clickable, but, didn’t exit the dialog. It had to be killed with task manager.

how were you extracting it, shell?

I can confirm this…
I was extracting a 14 meg file from a 140 meg archive from within PA not via the shell and I cancelled it after 5 minutes of waiting.if I drag it from the archive to desktop it works fine but if I right click on the file and tell it to extract then this is where the problems begin.
it extracted the file in question but the extracting info box as seen in By-Tor’s screenshot remains open indefinately.

thats awesome, so how exactly are you doing it? right click on file in archive, then use extract button?

as shown in this screenie…that’s the method I use to reproduce this error.

very simple, single file extract dont seem to work… very happy about this :). People will think i am crazy but it is very important that bugs are found as we know that they are there we just need help locating them!

Ok, I’m glad that’s cleared up. I had extracted it using the full gui, highlighting the file, then choosing extract from the toolbar.
