PA 2007 - last filename in tar files is blank
-
Using PA 2007 Beta 5 (Explorer view):
When I open a tar (or tar.Z) file, the file listing is missing the last file’s name and other info.
There is a line in the file listing for the files, the file is there, and PA will open it (with the correct filename), but the info just doesn’t show up.
The file listing shows up fine in Classic view.

thanks!

Follow-up: I thought this was only for .tar files, but it happens to me on Zip files, too. So I guess it’s just a general problem with the Explorer view.
edit: and on second look, it does not always occur… it appears to only happen if the zip file contains files with a directory path.

can you attach an screenshot? it would help a lot.
thanks,

Screenshots:
missing.filename-explorer.view.jpg shows the problem.
missing.filename-classic.view.jpg shows that the problem is in explorer view only.Note that it seems this problem does not seem to be 100% reproducible (at least with .zip files) so it may be dependent on the actual file as well.
These screenshots were made it a .tar.gz file from http://www.daemonology.net/bsdiff/bsdiff-4.3.tar.gz
