PA 2006 - we knew they were doing the review, but didnt know when will it be out.
And Computer Shopper announced PA 2006 as best tech of the year in Compression Utility market!
We like it :-)

Congrats PowerArchiver the Award is well deserved! If someone can get hold of the magazine and scan the section, it would be nice to see on PA’s website.

Not bad attal!!
The compression ratio is not as good as stuff it and PA doesnt offer Office Addin support (Bar Outlook) but overall a great piece of work!
Funny we all knew that already! :D

depends on what you are compressing… since all of them had really similar compression ratios, i would suppose that many filesnt couldnt be compressed any futher…
If they tried compressing applications, 7zip has 30%-40% better compression than WinZip or Stuffit… but that all really depends on what you are compressing…

Very True,
I must admit, at work i use Zip when sending to customers because it is the standard compression format but when compresing documents for myself both at work and home I allways use 7zip as it offers fantastic ratios!
But dont forget PowerArchiver received good merit on its GUI and simplisity and these things are very hard to get correct! and you guys have managed to do it!
I have Winzip, and stuff it but for ease of use they dont come near!

Congrats to the PowerArchiver development team on a job well done!
