Using NOD32 in PA?
-
I have NOD32 v3.0.699 and PA 11.02.03. What executable and command line settings do I use to have NOD32 scan files from the Actions menu?

Nothing? Perhaps I should explain, NOD32 is my virus scanner, it’s quite common, I’d like to use it to scan files from within Powerarchiver.

you need to check NOD settings/help/instructions on what command line to use when scanning files… it is not PA specific.
thanks,

Here’s what I use:
Optional virus scanner: C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\ecls.exe Parameters: --base-dir="C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus" --action=PROMPT
You need to adjust the paths if you’ve installed NOD32 elsewhere.
If there’s no problem, this will exit and close the command window before you can read it. If it finds a problem, it will prompt you on what to do… or it should; fortunately, I’ve not encountered this situation with PA and NOD32.

We opened new thread for AV testing:
http://www.powerarchiver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3463If you are using some AV inside of PA, please post info inside that thread and we will update the OP.
thanks everyone!
