PA 2009 11.02.03 lies <lol>.

tried to open an archive, PA says that it is invalid. WinRAR opens it without issue. It is a firmware upgrade for my DVD writer, GSA-H55L_106.exe.
Can this be fixed as I extract the firmware for tweaking before flashing.

did you try repairing it via zip tool? Could be bad zip sfx, and our engine does not like those…

If by ‘zip tool’ you mean the zip repair tool, it will only let one select .zip files, and the file in question is a .exe.
The file is 935 KB, I can upload it to my web space is you want to have a look at it.

Okay, that worked a treat. However, entering . in the filename box and then having to press return is a non standard way to do this AIUI. I would suggest that the drop down file-type box has an ‘all files’ item like most other programs…much more intuitive IMHO.
