IMHO the preview pane needs more work.
If I select a text file in an archive and select the ‘image’ option, the ‘media’ option becomes selected and Windows media player displays in the preview pane. Cannot the file type (for preview purposes) be found automatically? I know I should not select image for text, but when I test software, I TEST it :).
When viewing JPGs in an archive it is painfully slow.

isnt the filetype found automatically? You can actually set what extension should do in Config screen….
As to Jpg’s, it is still extracting them, so it depends on your computer…

Filetype is found automatically, sorry for my error.

2Gb Athlon x2 4800. The particular archive had >130 large JPGs in. A smaller picture in a smaller archive was instantanious rather than 5-10 secs.

smart thing is does is that it caches them, so if you go back to preview those files again (while you didnt close the archive), it will be instant…
