Hi,

Just thought I would post this here, tried searching, but it doesn’t seem like anyone else has reported the problem.

When I right-click on a WinRAR-SFX file, the context menu Extract Here and Extract To are repeated twice.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 64 with SP1, PA 2007 10.22.02 (01/2008).

Also, forgot to say, if you look at the PA icon in the menu items, you can see that they are not transparent like they are under XP.

Perhaps this is a problem with the shell extensions under 64 bit.

Yes I know the menus are fine under XP 32 Bit an d Vista 32 Bit.

Like I stated, it is a problem on 64 Bit.

I don`t know if the problem is because I reinstalled myeclipse in another folder, but it was the last thing that I remember.

How I fixed winrar:

1. create another user on system (normal, no need to be admin)
2. there you will see that winrar context menu is back when selecting a file.
3. Go to winrar configuration and try to change the context menu just to test. It will ask admin password.
4. log off and return to your user and see if it’s back (like mine was)

Well,

Since you guys have no update. I have an update for you.

The problem described above also affects 7-zip sfx files and not just .rar, have not tested any others yet.
