Empty folders are not included in new archive
-
As the subject states, whenever I include a folder in an archive, and the folder is empty, PA does not include the folder.
-
I don’t see this problem. Do you have the “Use normal relative path” option in the misc. configuration tab checked?

Yes, I have the “Use normal relative path” option in the misc. configuration tab checked.
Try creating a new archive (TAR.GZ) , and then add an empty folder.
-
ok - I tried creating a zip previously
wow…I got completely different results than you sort of.
When adding an empty folder and a file to a tar.gz archive I get the file AND the entire directory subtree listing. So for example I had My Documents and then all my folders (and their folders) were added to the structure.
When I started from scratch and tried to add only empty folder PA does not even create an archive.
Anybody else seeing this?
(Win XP SP2, PA 10.22 - I haven’t tried this on my Vista machine yet…)

Yes, that is exactly what happens with me also (Win XP pro-sp2), in fact PA just exits, no archive created.
