Create an encrypted file

Hi there,

is it possible to create an encrypted file with PA, that i can open with another Zip-Toll like WinZip?

The pae-file is only for PA, isn’t it?

Just select new archive / compress to and then select the encryption option (AES etc) on the compress options screen.

Yes, Encrypt to PAE is PowerArchiver specific.

Hi,

thank you for this answer, but i can’t change the file extension to .zip. I can choose only .pae.

Don’t use the option Encrypt - this creates PAE files.

As I said, use normal “compress to Zip with options…”
or File / New/ Zip
then select the encryption on that options screen
