First upload of FTP works; Second upload doesn't
-
I’m using PowerArchiver 1000 (and I also tried the earlier version) to do an FTP upload. The initial operation of the *.pbs script was able to log-on to my FTP server and place the compressed file in the directory.
Now, using the same script, I get on all subsequent attempts to ‘freshen’ the backup:
“Error uploading file. Check if destination path exists and you have write access…”I certainly have the correct path, access, and mode, since the silly thing worked the first time.
I’ve now tried this same thing on two different computers. The initial upload of the archive works fine, then subsequent ones don’t. It doesn’t matter if I try using the date/time-stamp or not suffixed to the archive name.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Has there been any progress with this, i have a similar issue whereby i am sure this worked at least once but not since.
Have checked accounts etc, and logged on via FTP from the command prompt.
On the FTP server logs i can’t see any connections from the PA2007 machine.
thanks
Jeff

Hi,
I have done a few more tests and it appears that the FTP works when i run the backup script from Windows Explorer but not when it is ran as a scheduled task.
I will do a few more tests and start a new thread if necessary.
thanks
