With Powerarchiver 2006, I could open xyz.pae, cancel when passoword request was displayed, then extract xyz.zip and enter the pae password at that time. This no longer seems to work with Powerarchiver 2007. How can I extract the original zip from the pae file?

Don’t cancel - just enter the password at this point.

If I enter the password, it opens the zip file inside the pae file. I want to extract the zip file, not open it. My point was that this is a change in behavior from PowerArchiver 2006, as I outlined in my first post. I want to know if this change is deliberate, or if there is a problem with PowerArchiver.

you can drag and drop it out of .pae… it seems to be an bug with extract window not working in this situation…

The issue should be fixed in 10.1.
