Duplicate PA items in "Add/Remove Programs"

I upgraded from PA2006 to PA2007 a few months ago, and only today realized that the Add/Remove Programs list in Windows XP shows two instances of PA – PowerArchiver 2006 v9.64 and PowerArchiver 2007.
QUESTION #1: If I click REMOVE on the PA2006 entry, will it remove the current version PA2007? I only wish to remove the old redundant entry in the Add/Remove Programs list.
QUESTION #2: I have a copy of jv16 PowerTools, which will remove orphaned entries in the Add/Remove list. Will removing the “PowerArchiver 2006 v9.64” entry remove also the uninstall facility for PA2007?
How should I remove the redundant entry in the Add/Remove list?

You can use #2 option… If you use PA 2006 uninstall and you installed PA 2007 over it, it will make your life harder :-).
Or you can always uninstall PA 2007, then PA 2006 and install PA 2007 again.

I apologize for the delay in thanking you for your responses. I’ve been having some problems with my username and password on the PA forum. When I tried to reset my pw, my username was changed, and I received an activation code instead of a password. Very confusing.
