Extraction Path

Is it possible to tell PA to initially extract Files not into the Temp-Directory, but into the Directory where the Files should finally reside?
I´ve tried several Options but it didn´t help. Maybe I´m just blind… :)
Thanks for any Hints. -
check Options> Config> Misc> Speed options…
helps?

I checked the second Option from above under Speed (I am using the German version and its called “Aktuellen Ordner verwenden”; PA 9.62.03), but this didn´t help.
When i drag a File out of an Archive, PA extracts it into the Temp Directory and then the File is copied via Explorer into the right Location. -
ah, it does not work with d&d at this point, if you are using shell, or extract window, it works :-).

Ah, good to know. Then i can stop trying to get this to work :)
Thank you for the replies.
Is it possible/planned to get this to work in a future Version of PA? -

Is it possible/planned to get this to work in a future Version of PA?yes, we didnt have time to do it for 9.6 since it required a bit of testing, but it will be added in the future for sure…

Has this been implimented yet? This drives we crazy when I drag a big file from an archive and it has to copy it after decompressing. I love the software anyway though!

it can only be worse now, since Vista requires us to do more work for D&D support :-)
