Paying?!?
-
 Hey, when I bought my PA license I was assured it was a LIFETIME license. Now, since I’m not dead, I think it should still be valid.
Take also a look at this page, which is similar to the one I was presented:
http://www.filebot.org/Utilities/File-Compression/item6029-1.htm
There was a discussion here about the cheapness of PA considering the lifetime upgrade, and now?
I install 2006 version and I discover I must pay for upgrading AND that my trial period is over. So I’m not even given the 30 day trial.
Nice way to thank who supported PA from the beginning… -
 Nope.
All that has happened is that the license code “format” has changed. If you already have a license for PowerArchiver then a new licence is provided free of charge. :D

Indeed, isnt it better to check around before writing angry messages? :-).
-
Well, in fact I did, I checked the site but couldn’t find anything. And the title of the other message didn’t mean nothing to me at first… Sorry. BUt you know, since the program says my code is not valid anymore how can I imagine I have to change it?

Obviously you missed this thread then:
http://www.powerarchiver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1095Anyway there is (now) a note on the download page about this.
Previously, it was mentioned on the “News” page. -
Program also says you need new code if you enter wrong one :-).
And tells you where to go to get it… -
p.s. did you get the code?
