C:\Program Files (x86)\PowerArchiver\POWERARC-PACKMP3.EXEi have personally reported it 10x to them in past 30 days, it should have been fixed. According to VirusTotal it is not reported anymore, i am sure you are using latest definitions? thanks.

I don’t like the .83 version at all. It’s always locking up saying not responding. Makes the whole PC slow and a bit unreliable.

when does it happen? Let us know more… first report so far. What has changed is add and extract windows, not much else inside PA (other than codecs).

Avira antivirus is throwing up a false positive with this build.
According to Avira it contains TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen3.
I’ve reported it as a fp, . Hopefully they will fix it.Just had an email from the saying it has been fixed and it looks like it has.

we also re-uploaded the setup with version of the exe that has been whitelisted properly… thanks!

@spwolf I reinstalled over the top. Possibly it’s better now but checking for updates is often very slow and shows “Not responding”. Maybe it’s just your update server that’s slow.

it is small text file on our CDN, so likely a problem between CDN servers and your ISP. I had a vision of PA crashing and freezing :).
If it keeps happening, we can send tracert logs to the CDN, maybe they can re-route it.

Under View> Display Style… we will add it to the same button on status bar too.
