Can you include .3MF to the list of re-compressible formats? Its structure is similar to MS Office 2007 documents and Open Document Format. It is a ZIP Deflate archive with XML data and some JPG, and/or PNG pictures inside. Otherwise, if I try to compress .3MF it bearly makes it smaller unless I recompress .3MF to the Store setting then it makes it a lot smaller.
Wish they all would move to 7zip ZSTD in the first place so that the optimized file size with FileOptimizer would be 50% of the ZIP Deflate version. And there would be no extra compression needed :)
I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.
Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption
PowerArchiver as a Portable App

I would like PowerArchiver as portable app such as UltraEdit
Is something like this planned?

we will have to do it… just not sure what solution to use… any ideas? We have to have associations and shell extensions, otherwise it wont be PA!

It would be really great if there would be a portable version of PowerArchiver.

I am very happy to have found Power Archiver, but I could certainly use it as a portable app. The speed and flexibility of the program are what opened my eyes to it. I’ve been a long time winRAR and Zip user, but this takes the cake. Now if we can get it in a mobile format, I don’t think there is anything that would beat it.
I am simply an end user though, so I have no input on how to achieve such a thing, but I will second the notion that it needs done at some point.

I used to get errors frequently with WinRAR and 7 Zip when unpacking Zip files, haven’t gotten one error yet with PowerArchiver after several months. It offers hundreds of features, yet remains easy to use, small and fast. It supports most popular compressed and encoded formats currently in use. Above all adds more as a portable application.

The portable version has been discussed a few times in the past.
