The “Email it” feature is not working.

I test it using context menu in Explorer and within PowerArchiver.

I use OutlookExpress and WindowsXP SP2 (Portuguese).

What happens when you right click on file, send to> mail recipient, in Windows Explorer?

Also, under Internet Explorer> Tools> Programs> Email client. What is listed there?

It works fine with my outlook, and works fine when I changed my default client to my Outlook Express, so it has to be more specific than that.

1. The send to>mail… is working;

2. My email client is Outlook Express;

3. When I try to email using PA just a window appears and it is minimized (it’s really fast) and that’s all…

I’ve already tried to install PA again.

Hi,

I can confirm this issue.

1. Create archive (for example, “arch.zip”)
2. Right-click on this archive-> PA->e-mail it!

3. ”…just a window appears and it is minimized (it’s really fast) and that’s all…”

I use The Bat! v3.0

!!! This doesn’t happen when e-mail client is running in the background (trey or minimized)

I’m using XP Home SP2, OE and it works OK for me. However, I do get the minimize to taskbar animation, but then the e-mail window does appear.

The same.

If e-mail client is running in the background (trey or minimized) it works fine.

But if I don’t launch e-mail application first,
it doesn’t work…

For me, even if OutlookExpress is opened, the PA’s email feature does not work.

Compress & Email does not work either.

i’m using windows 98 se and thunderbid email client and it works for me.

It could be a windows xp issue

I can’t confirm this.

I checked this under Win98 SE (RUS) with Outlook Express
and it doesn’t work!

I cannot confirm this. I’m using The Bat! v3.0.2.10 with PA v9.11.01 and Email It starts The Bat! with the file attached to a new message.

can everyone list all the open files on there computer, maybe its something conflicting with the email client . It orks for me i wuld suggest changing to thunerbird email client and then checking this feature as outlook express is bugggy and can cause this problem , which can affect the bat as well as several other eamil programs.

Have you tried this featuire in safe mode it might be a conflicting driver. I know this feature is faulty in ultimatezip so if your’ve installed it and uninstalled it, that might have left several things of your system that might be causing this.

though this feature is a bit slow, it still works. Some people are probably terminating the prossess cause thay think it is not work , just a thought.

I will be testing it for 9.2 with several different clients and OS’s - hopefully I will be able to reproduce it somehow. Can someone with the problem verify that they had uninstalled PowerArchiver, restarted and then installed 9.11?

1. I exited almost all programs but the email feature didn’t work.

2. I have uninstalled and installed PA again but it didn’t work either.

I have tested an email feature with another program (7zip) and t didn’t work too.

Something is wrong with the system, but what?

I have attached the list of all applications running (from Windows task manager).

I did. It doesn’t work in safe mode too…
