Can you include .3MF to the list of re-compressible formats? Its structure is similar to MS Office 2007 documents and Open Document Format. It is a ZIP Deflate archive with XML data and some JPG, and/or PNG pictures inside. Otherwise, if I try to compress .3MF it bearly makes it smaller unless I recompress .3MF to the Store setting then it makes it a lot smaller.
Wish they all would move to 7zip ZSTD in the first place so that the optimized file size with FileOptimizer would be 50% of the ZIP Deflate version. And there would be no extra compression needed :)
I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.
Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption

Would it be difficult to add the Feature to virtual drive to insert ISO image into Physical CD/DVD ROM
instead of having it mount a virtual drive it could just insert into a drive that’s already present
I’ve seen this done with other apps and I just thought it woulds be nice for that option to be added to PA context menu
It could be a feature only available to the paying customers

I’m not sure what you mean - do you mean to “burn” the iso onto a disc?
-
No PA already can do burning
Ok lets say you have 2 optical drives Drive Drive D and Drive E for example
and you click on an iso image sitting on your desktop and along with PA’s option to mount as virtual drive which it already has
How about an option to insert/mount that image into a drive that’s Already there Drive D or Drive E for instance

If I understand you correct, you have 2 optical physical drives (CD/DVD units) as drive D and E and you would like to mount an ISO-image to one of these drives?
Well ISO-files can be used two ways. Eiher you burn the ISO file to a Disc (CD or DVD) and then use the disc in the physical drive, or you mount the ISO file into a virtual drive instead and it will act as if it is a physical drive with a disc inserted.
I don’t know if its even possible to mount a ISO-file to a physical drive since a physical drive looks for a disc insered into it.
Besides all that, what’s the point of getting this feature if it’s possible?

i guess the point is novelty of it ;-)

Yes it is possible I currently do it with http://www.virtualcd-online.com/
cause some pieces of software only recognize things in Physical drives
So I keep that piece of software around when necessary & I don’t feel like burning the iso
And If PA were to implement this addition I wouldn’t need that other piece of software
No Big deal either either way just a suggestion

Thanks for the information, I didn’t know it was possible. The program looks very interesting if you need more than 4 virtual drives. Maybe I take a closer look at it some day in the future.

Your welcome and I didn’t know it was possible either till I found the program Personally I don’t really care much about it displaying Virtual drives I would have it not display a if possible but display of one is required
I mainly just use it to insert images into physical drives and it would be awesome if PA offered similar
