I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.
Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption
PA auto-best-ratio mode?
-
It would be unique if PA could have some “compress to best ratio” or similar option, which would automatically choose amongst all the compressing options PA has, the one which would grant the smallest archive size depending on the files chosen.
say I select 5 files, then “compress to best ratio” and PA creates a .7z file. next time, other x files, PA creates a .zip…
…something like this!
-
select 7z and optimized mode (Ultra compression) and thats exactly what you will get….
7z is always the best mode in PA, zip or cab is never better than 7z.
-
good to know, I thought zip, cab or others could get to smaller files sometimes.
