Going back

  • When opening an archive within an archive, it would be very handy to have a ‘back’ button so that one can errr…go back easily to the original archive.

if you have explorer view, there is such button, and if you dont, then close archive and it will go back to original one.

  • I have found that closing the archive closes PA completely; ie it does not go back to the original one. ‘Reuse windows’ is not selected.

Biglet found when checking out explorer view, the tool tip says ‘enable explorer view’ whether that view is enabled or not.

if you click on Close or Ctrl+L, it should go back… it doesnt?

  • Ctrl+L works as you say, i.e. it goes back (thanks, never used that before). However, closing the window (with the ‘X’) closes the whole thing, it does not go back…and never has done here in all past versions I can recall.
