I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.
Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption
Don't discard file metadata
-
It would be good of PowerArchiver retained the metadata of files when they get compressed (just like WinRAR does) rather than discarding all of it.
I use metadata extensively to label and categorise my files (using the Summary tab within Windows Explorer file manager) however as soon as you compress these files with PowerArchiver, all of the information that I spent time adding gets stripped off. This means that when you subsequently extract the file, the metadata information associated with that file is no longer there.
I did search the PowerArchiver options page just in case there was a setting for this, but I couldn’t find anything relevant.
