Leave unrared files even if crc check is bad

  • when i extract multiple rar parts…

    part1.rar
    part2.rar

    part7.rar

when there is a crc error the extracted file will be deleted…

can i make it not to delete even if it is incomplete?

  • Unfortunetely, The autodelete when an error occurs is built into the coding for this action. As far as im aware you can’t disable this through the options screen in pa.

This might be another thing to add to the wish list unless anyone else can come up with an idea to help you.

  • I see.

I hope it would be added some time.

7-Zip can do this so if I get a CRC error it would still produce an output.

It’s just… I don’t know. Because I paid for this program and then now a free one can do what PA can’t.

  • Frustrating for sure! Spwolf & Ivan can this be added to the todo list???

is there anything else PA can do that free one can not?

    🙂

  • no more i think.

but do you think there’s a chance that this can be added on the next version?

    thanks for your time both.
