-
I don’t know if this is a double post. But I couldn’t find the old one.
Pa cannot extract a filename with he following name:

You get a permission error.

p.s. thanks for all the updates

1408_2007 .part001.rar
- spanned rar
- 94 files, 50 mb each
Gives the same error message
-
You will get this error with every archive that has space before dot and extensions. You cannot create a directory with space on the end. The same error gives any other archive utility.
-
I could extract it fine with WnRR.
-
i have asimilar problem.
i cant extract splitt rar archives like
archive.rar
archive.001
archive.002
archive.003
archive.004
archive.005
archive.006
and so on and so on.also my right click menu doesnt show ANY powerarchiver options. so this program is useless for me.
-
The right click on the rar file should work.
-
No, there isnt anything related to powerarchiver in right click.
Thats the problem… everything works fine with winrar. But i have paid for powerarchiver beacuse i like it better.
Without right drag click this program i useless for me. -
You mean you dont get right click menus at all?
I think first thing to check is to go Options and click on set default. That should reset it.
thanks.

You will get this error with every archive that has space before dot and extensions. You cannot create a directory with space on the end. The same error gives any other archive utility.
To resolve this problem, when you create a folder from the name and this has a space in the end, WinRAR automatically replaces the space at the end with a “_”

Please try with final pre-release version:
http://www.powerarchiver.com/test/release10/powarc1100rc5.exeAnd let us know if this has been improved right away.
thanks!
