Can you include .3MF to the list of re-compressible formats? Its structure is similar to MS Office 2007 documents and Open Document Format. It is a ZIP Deflate archive with XML data and some JPG, and/or PNG pictures inside. Otherwise, if I try to compress .3MF it bearly makes it smaller unless I recompress .3MF to the Store setting then it makes it a lot smaller.
Wish they all would move to 7zip ZSTD in the first place so that the optimized file size with FileOptimizer would be 50% of the ZIP Deflate version. And there would be no extra compression needed :)
I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.
Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption
Archive Converter problems

I have downloaded the newest build (9.01). I have a project in which I have ALOT of SFX files to convert to zip files. Using the Archiver converter tool, I have run into a few issues that are causing be headaches.
1.) I have to browse to each file (since each file in in a different folder) and each time I click on add a file, the tool starts the browse in the same folder each time no matter where I was last.
2). The convert tool doesn’t see (.exe) files as a archive type. I have to select show all to see the SFX (.exe) files
3). The context menus don’t display convert for the SFX (.exe) files but it will have extract, extract here. etc.
If any one of these items be easier to work it would make much easier for me. If all were done I would be extatic. :D
Thank you in advance for any help you can give on this.

Hmm I hadn’t realised that :(
If you are looking for a suggestion to accomplish your task -
Assuming you are familiar with DOS (Windows CMD)…
Create a new Folder (e.g. c:\Manual )
Now copy all the exe files (ctrl click) to this folder
Then select all exe in c:\Manual and right click (to access PA shell extensions)
Select Extract to Filename\This expands each exe into its own sub-folder
Now delete all exe files
Now use PACL (see download page) to compress each sub-folder into seperate (Zip or whatever) file.Check Ivan’s response here for a tip on how to do this
http://www.powerarchiver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100Note: Folders are “*.” in DOS Batch speak.
Enhancing Archive Converter would make this much easier :D
If you can find the old DOS ARJ32.exe archiver utility, it did include a (DOS) convert utility.Hope that helps.
