I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.
Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption
Wider dialog window for Add…
-
I’ve installed PA 2006.
However, the “Add” dialog window could be wider.
The “Add to archive” text box is small and I always have to press “End” key to go to the end of the line and then change the archive’s name.
In addition, the text box of the password field could be placed in the “Add” dialog instead of just a button…
Maybe for this major release, you could make this adjustments to make not only easier but also faster for add with options…

I agreee with you ;)
-
Thanks Klumy!
I really hope they update the old interface…
-
Here is my suggestion of a new Add dialog which is just easier (faster) to use:
-
Perfect !!!

Very nice!!!
-
the Drag and drop window in beta 3 already has such a design
we are just waiting for the add dialog ;)
-
It’s really better!
But I still think a password field is better then a button. I always use password…
PA new after drop window dialog (see my suggestion above):

Don’t you need TWO fields - enter and confirm
-
Yes, two fields.
-
I support the idea of making the add box wider instead of having it as long as it is.
-
i am not sure if we can resize it properly because of the options tab options. we will check it out.

Thanks!
With an application like PA the less mouse clicks the better is the user interface!!
I use PA everyday for my backups! It’s important to get a fast access to the options.
