I made a big .PA file and thought I’d check it was made correctly with Menu / Actions / Test.
Discovered:
a) PA always issues a UAC prompt to do this!
b) PA always says there are many errors in PA files.

hey @<bdi>brian-gregory</bdi>,
I’ve attempted to reproduce this with a sample archive but did not get the extraction of files to folder. Tried testing via shell and main PA.
Does it happen to all archives or certain ones?

All .PA archives I think.

Could you please send a sample archive where you can reproduce to me at support at conexware dot com and I will take a look to reproduce it. Certainly would like to fix it for the next update.

Example Archive linked here
My PA settings linked here

Right-click the PA file and choose “PowerArchiver” then on sub menu choose “Test”.
The PA archive gets extracted to the directory containing it.
I am running PA 22.00.08 on Windows 7 64 bit.
