<![CDATA[[Solved]PowerArchiver IMG-file opening/extraction]]>When I tried to extract files from my IMG-file, I got nothing.
Then I opened IMG-file with PowerArchiver v14.06.01, it showed me the empty window.
After that I opened the same IMG-file in 7-Zip v9.34, it showed me the archive(image) structure, and allowed me to extract it.

10.10.2014 the PowerArchiver v14.06.02 was released, but it still not opening IMG-files (diskcopy.img from diskcopy.dll).

the PowerArchiver 14.06.01 opens this archive, but with different files as 7-ZIP v9.34.

it told me it was an invalid file or corrupt when I tried various programs to access it.

Maybe the diskcopy.img file was downloaded incorrectly.
You can try to download this file from zippyshare or rghost from above link.
Also you can make this img-file by yourself:

  1. Open with Restorator (resource editor) diskcopy.dll file from C:\Windows\System32 folder.
  2. Open BINFILE folder and save 1 resource as diskcopy.img file.

diskcopy.img file can be opened or extracted correctly by using following programs:

7-Zip 9.34

Easy 7-Zip 0.1.2
FreeArc 0.67
HaoZip 4.4.1.9596.1
PeaZip-5.4.1
