<![CDATA[PA 14.05.01 + Win7 x64\. .tar.gz weirdness]]>When I double click on a xxx.tar.gz file PA opens but I don’t get to see what’s in the file at all.

PA right click Test seems to work but I have to respond to a UAC prompt first.

PA right click Extract Here does nothing and again I have to respond to a UAC prompt first.

PA right click Extract to archivename\ just creates an empty directory after I respond to a UAC prompt.

I’ve got to go now.
I should be able to investigate further over the weekend if you need me to.

Yes a little session with sysinternals procmon shows it does appear to be creating a temp file with that weird name.

Quick test seems to work fine but possible corruption or weird temp file name is shown when testing .tar.gz files.
