Can you include .3MF to the list of re-compressible formats? Its structure is similar to MS Office 2007 documents and Open Document Format. It is a ZIP Deflate archive with XML data and some JPG, and/or PNG pictures inside. Otherwise, if I try to compress .3MF it bearly makes it smaller unless I recompress .3MF to the Store setting then it makes it a lot smaller.
Wish they all would move to 7zip ZSTD in the first place so that the optimized file size with FileOptimizer would be 50% of the ZIP Deflate version. And there would be no extra compression needed :)
I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.
Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption

Would you consider adding two related options in the shell extension:
(1) add to “recently used file” (show, say, the last 5-6 archives the user has opened)
(2) add to, with a browse option to locate an archive in the file system -
You have Compress to… options, which are exactly what you want. There is MRU with 10 files as well as with options where you can select archive.

Sorry. I had never see the MRUs.
Thanks.
-
do you see it now?
-
yes. I was looking for the MRU list in the context menu, rather than than inside the add window.
-
well mru list should be there in context menu,
Compress to…> Compress with options
MRUdo you get that as well?
-
It was not there.
I then found the option in the customize window.
I thought I had looked any number of times to add that option (assuming it was there); somehow I missed it multiple times.
Sorry for my stupid comments.

There is nothing stupid about asking! Thanks a lot. Your comments make us create better software by understanding how people use PowerArchiver.
I am also glad you are not mad at us anymore :-)
