<p dir="auto">System specs:</p>
<ul>
<li>Windows 7 Professional RTM x64 (MSDNAA version, German)</li>
<li>Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 (2x 2.66GHz)</li>
<li>4GB RAM</li>
<li>PA 2010 PRO, Version 11.60.10 (08/2009) English w/ International reg. code.</li>
</ul>
<p dir="auto">I’m currently dealing with several splitted and password protected 7zip archives (filename.7z.001 - filename.7z.00X).</p>
<p dir="auto">filename.7z.001 is recognized as a “general” archive regarding the shown icon.</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="http://imghost.glorp.de/i/88f840076f99.png" alt="" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">If I perform a right-click on it and choose “Extract here” PA quits with an “invalid archive” error:</p>
<p dir="auto"><a href="http://imghost.glorp.de/i/9a1df58575d3.png" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc"><img src="http://imghost.glorp.de/i/t/9a1df58575d3.png" alt="" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></a>(click to enlarge)</p>
<p dir="auto">But if I perform a double click, PA opens the archive and recognizes it as a valid password protected 7zip archive and I can extract it.</p>

<p dir="auto">They were created using the “original” 7zip application (v4.65 I guess, Windows XP):</p>
<p dir="auto"><a href="http://imghost.glorp.de/i/489defc44f71.png" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc"><img src="http://imghost.glorp.de/i/t/489defc44f71.png" alt="" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></a><br />
(click to enlarge, Sorry only in German)</p>
<p dir="auto">I think the most important settings:<br />
Ultra/LZMA, Splitted, Password encrypted incl. encr. filenames using AES.</p>
