<![CDATA[Strange scheduled backup behavior]]>Ok… Here we go again… Seems that PA gets more and more probs with every release… :eek:

Scheduled task runs every night. Backup works fine. Uploading to ftp doesn’t work.

When I run the pbs from within pa everything seems to work…

HOW can this be? I have several other pa backups running on this server. Upload works fine!! This is the only scheduled task that doesn’t upload…

So for PA there is just an empty directory…

Yes it is… Created a new file and changed the name and it works now… No idea why… This is not the first time that some jobs work and some don’t. No idea why…

if it works with changed filename, then for some reason ftp could not delete old file…

are all of your backups with filenames that dont change?

Permissions are fine because the scheduled job runs and creates a file. This is just not uploaded.
When I run the job manually everything works fine.

Happens all the time…

and other backups, ftp works fine when scheduled?
