<![CDATA[Version of compression format identification]]>I know this might not be possible at the moment but when you create say a rar or a zip file some encoding to the archive can inform you of the version of that compression format has been used.

For example you can tell if zip 2.0 has been used or if the 4gb zip has been used.

If the program can tell us which one it is for example it can help us find a program that can open it or get powerarchiver archiver to open it in future if it can not do so already.

This would need the help of all archive makers though it shouldn’t be too much trouble as it would eliminate the can’t open but your product sayes it can problem.
