<![CDATA[Pre sales assistance]]>Hi, i’m looking for a product that can create a compressed archive file on one server, i will then run a script to transfer the archive file to another remote server, when it will need to be uncompressed.

In short i’m looking to compress a SQL backup (.bak) file, and then transfer it over an ADSL link to a 2nd SQL server, where it will be scripted to be installed onto that SQL server. The creation of the archive file will be a scheduled task from inside windows. It could be done via a bat file if poss.

Is this something power archiver could do?
