<![CDATA[Don't TAR single files]]>When compressing single files (either via shell extensions OR in Batch tool) using Gzip or BZip2 format, it is wasteful to TAR the file first!

This actually increases the original file size (because of TAR Header) and causes long delay (especially for BATCH).

Would it be possible to implement direct Gzip/BZip2 compression?
